Wombo Games has revealed the Raiders of Blackveil Fangs and Faith Update. This update will introduce two new playable Champions. All the while continuing to expand the co-op roguelite during its Steam Early Access period. The update also includes new equipment and a highly requested quality-of-life feature ahead of the game’s full launch in Q1 2027.

Meet Foxley and Valora
The headline additions are two new Champions joining the rebellion against the Blackveil megacorporation.
Foxley is the game’s first archer archetype, using a magical bow and frost-based abilities to control enemies while dealing powerful ranged damage. His backstory reveals he abandoned his family after discovering their allegiance to Blackveil.
Joining him is Valora, a paladin who escaped the last monastery untouched by Blackveil’s corruption. Armed with a massive hammer and light-based abilities, she offers a mix of offensive attacks and defensive support, making her a versatile addition to any team.
More Content and Quality-of-Life Improvements
The Fangs and Faith Update also expands player customization with 10 new pieces of equipment, creating additional build combinations and perk synergies. Wombo Games has also implemented one of the community’s most requested features, allowing players to save their progress during a raid and resume it later.
These additions build on the previously released Ghoulag biome as the developer continues refining the Early Access experience.
Looking Ahead
Raiders of Blackveil combines top-down action with roguelite progression, MOBA-inspired Champions, and cooperative gameplay for up to three players. Developed by Wombo Games, the title is currently available in Steam Early Access, with Version 1.0 planned for Q1 2027. As development continues on the game, the Raiders of Blackveil Fangs and Faith Update gives players new Champions, additional equipment, and quality-of-life improvements while offering another look at what to expect ahead of the game’s full release.
