Warframe: Banshee Prime Build and Post Rework Review

In the most recent update for Warframe, the Iceblade of Narin, one of the oldest warframes in the game, got a slight touch-up to her abilities. This streamlined her for more accessibility to what she can bring to the table. Banshee has always been in a weird spot, as players who know how to use her can make her dangerous, but most players (me included) didn’t understand her properly; this one touch-up made her easier to understand and, as such, gave her a new lease on life. So much so that I finally picked her back up and figured her out. Below will be our site’s recommended build for her in 2026.

Recommended Build for Banshee Prime in Warframe

Below is the build for her, which uses no forma, as I am using her Prime variant. If you are using the normal Banshee you got for free, simply copy what you see below with the forma you need to spend:

To get one thing out of the way quickly, I subsumed her 4th ability for Cyte-09’s Evade ability. This gives her invisibility to synergize with her other abilities so long as you keep getting headshot kills. From here, it’s pretty standard, just mostly build for a balance of each stack, with most of it going to range. Just make sure to add Arcane Crepuscular from the Hex’s shop in 1999.

Below are the Archon Shards I landed on for her. These are purely for flavor, and you can swap them out for whatever you wish.

Banshee Review in 2026

As stated previously, the touch-up to her abilities is quite nice. You aren’t rooted in place, and everything feels much easier to understand with her abilities. I do respect the decision they made not to completely rework her kit. Especially if we look at past reworks like Oberon’s. But this little touch-up made me enjoy using her more. I would highly recommend using the Dual Torxica with this build. This is due to the fact that those pistols give lingering cold procs to random enemies, slowing them down so you can hit the weak points created with Sonar. It’s a killer build for Steel Path and beyond in Warframe.
