Super Mario Maker 2 & Switch Reign Supreme in June NPD

The latest videogame console and hardware results have arrived courtesy of NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella.

For the month of June, the Nintendo Switch was the best selling console for the month.  While Super Mario Maker 2 was the best selling software title of June.

Overall sales growth breakdown per June NPD results:

• Total: $959 million (Down 13% from June 2018)
• Hardware: $235 million (Down from $350 million June 2018)
• Software: $386 million (Down from $388 million June 2018)
• Accessories and Game Cards: $338 million (Down from $362 million June 2018)
