Mega Cat Studios Offers New Games in Retro Cartridges

At PAX East this year, we experienced tons of brand new video games that push the graphical capabilities of PCs and consoles. We also enjoyed tons of games that really gave you a nostalgic feel with a retro look. Mega Cat Studios, however, was able to take that same feeling and multiply it by a thousand with their 8bit and 16bit retro cartridges.

Retro Cartridges

You can already get your hands on their retro games like Bite the Bullet and Lethal Wedding on Steam, Xbox, Switch and PS4. Mega Cat Studios though took it one step further as you can also purchase their games to play on your Sega Genesis, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Super Famicom systems among others.

Those that want to take their retro gaming to its fullest potential can purchase these games at the Mega Cat Studios store. The games range from $19.99 to $150, although the latter is for a limited edition of Log Jammers. The games are also available to try out for free, which is also a huge plus.

It was really fun to bump into the Mega Cat Studios booth at PAX East. Something so refreshing about going completely retro. Especially since they had the display fully stocked with small tube TVs.
