We here at the Iron Lords Podcast and Lords of Gaming are continuing coverage of Warhorse Studios‘ Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The Lords Discuss Everything about Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The game takes place immediately after the events from the first Kingdom Come Deliverance. Henry, who was a small-time son of a blacksmith turned hero, becomes engrossed in a fight against an invading force. He becomes part of a rebel guerilla group to defend their homeland.

History buffs will appreciate the appearance of real historical figures in the game. While RPG nerds will fall in love with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2‘s deep role-playing mechanics and immersion. Moreover, players can expect once again a realistic experience, where you’ll have to hunt, cook, eat, and even shower to make it in the harsh medieval world.

When it comes to combat, stamina will play a key role. Swinging around your sword like a madman will do you no good and open you up to an attack from enemies. The swordplay is tough at first but really rewards players once they get the hang of it. Sort of like an authentic reflection of Henry’s continuing learning to become a formidable medieval warrior.

The vocal performances are on a whole different level. Each conversation is quite seamless and truly immersive. No doubt, it adds to the authentic portrayal of the historical era that KCD2 continues to strive for.

Despite an initial delay from out of 2024, KCD2 is closer than ever as it is scheduled to be released on February 4, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
