In a Twitter/X post from Warhorse Studios, the video post provided an update about Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Originally slated to release at the end of 2024, the highly-anticipated medieval RPG sequel will now release on February 11, 2025. Surprisingly, the date coincides with the anniversary week of the original game.

Additionally, the post also mentioned that the game will have a significant presence at this year’s Gamescom. More specifically, Warhorse is teasing that the game will have a presence at Gamescom Opening Night Light, hosted by Geoff Keighley. Moreover, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will also get a special Collector’s Edition of the game, and press previews will also be dropping on August 21.

Thoughts on the Slight Delay and More

While delays can be disappointing at times, I believe that more time in the oven will overall do a game an immense service. However, since the fall game schedule is looking immensely packed with titles, it could be a blessing in disguise to wait a little longer for KCD2. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is slated to release on February 11, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
