Sifu Makes Its Way To PlayStation and PC Next February
Martial Arts games and movies feel very few and far between these days. The era of endless Jackie Chan and Jet Li films feels like a distant memory now as the industry focuses heavily on firearms-based action. However, the upcoming martial arts-focused game Sifu from developers Sloclap looks to make hand-to-hand fighting “cool” again. You might remember Sloclap from their other martial arts-focused game Absolver. Which featured a wide variety of styles of combat for players to engage with AI’s as well as other players. If you have an itch for martial arts combat, you won’t have to wait much longer to get your hands on Sifu.
Sifu Comes Punching To The Door
After a delay that saw the game miss its Summer 2021 release window, Sifu was reportedly set to release sometime during the Spring of 2022. Now thanks to a new trailer from Sloclap we now have an official date to mark on the calendar. Sifu will officially launch on February 22nd, 2021, and is coming to PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 as well as PC via the Epic Games Store. The game is officially available for pre-purchase as well. It is worth noting that the deluxe edition of the game will allow players 48 hours early access to the title. This means if you are really itching for a hard-hitting martial arts game, this might be for you. We are very excited to play Sifu in February and look forward to seeing more of the game before its launch.
