The Witcher Season 2 Trailer Has Dropped

The Witcher Season 2 has finally had a full trailer drop. One of the most well-received series of last year, The Witcher, is getting its second season in just over a month. The trailer showcases Geralt, Ciri, Jaskier, and Yennefer with a heavy focus on the coming war.

In the first season of The Witcher, we saw the convergence of three timelines which concluded with the destined meeting of Geralt and Ciri, the Child of Promise. Moving forward, Geralt will take charge of Ciri in the wake of the destruction of her native Cintra at the hands of Niflgaard. Ciri’s training will take the to the legendary Witcher citadel of Kaer Morhen. The brewing war between Niflgaard and the rest of the south will form the back drop of the season. It has all the makings of an apocalyptic tale, though as Geralt says:

I have seen three ‘end of days’.

So maybe it is not quite as bleak as it seems. The Witcher Season 2 drops on 17 December 2021.
