James Gunn Shoots Down Adam Warlock Casting News
Yesterday Guardians of the Galaxy fans were given some great news. Adam Warlock was being talked about in casting terms. It seems that this was all just smoke as James Gunn shot all of this down.
The website TheIlluminerdi.com has been giving fans plenty of news lately. They recently broke the rumor that The Mutants movie is being produced. Yesterday they released the news that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has some casting news. Marvel was supposedly looking for a “Zac Efron” type to fill the role of Adam Warlock. If you remember at the end of the second movie his creation was teased. Given that the third movie was pushed back fans have been waiting for a long time to see this character in the MCU.

With that one Tweet, it shuts down all that casting news. James Gunn is still currently working on The Peacemaker show for HBO Max. We actually don’t have a solid release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Hopefully work on the movie will begin sometime later this year. Some of the cast is showing up in Thor: Love and Thunder. That movie will be released on May 6th, 2022.

We will hopefully get some news on Adam Warlock in the next few months. This definitely has created some buzz for the character. Phase Four has started with the show WandaVision. The first movie in this phase is still scheduled to be released on May 7th. Black Widow will be coming to theaters.
