Halo Infinite: The Road to Better XP

Halo Infinte Fracture Tenrai

Announced today via Halo Infinite community manager John Junyszek, the progression system for Halo Infinite will be getting more improvements. Starting with more XP gains for playing matches starting tomorrow.

Details on Halo Infinite’s XP improvements

As detailed by the community manager in a small Twitter thread, the game will receive an XP overhaul. Halo Infinite‘s battle pass progression system will start rewarding players more than the usual “50 XP” that has recently become a meme on social media. Below are the increases to match XP in the game from his Twitter thread.

1st Game = 300XP 2nd Game = 200XP 3rd Game = 200XP 4th Game = 100XP 5th Game = 100XP 6th Game = 100XP 7th+ Game = 50XP We believe this increase will help address those slower initial payouts while also benefiting those of you jumping on each and every day.

Mathematically, this will net each player, every day one level guaranteed. This is a big improvement, but there is always more to add to the game. Like dedicated playlists for specific game modes for specific challenge completions. As well as a robust custom games system and XP gains from challenges to reward players for going the extra mile. However, are you happy with the changes made thus far? Is there anything, in particular, you’d like to see added or improved? Let us know in the comments below and enjoy the fight Spartans!
