The blockbuster update of the summer has finally launched for all Warframe players. Jade Shadows: Constellations is a brand-new update featuring a wealth of new content for the game. Including a new cinematic quest, a new warframe, a new weapon, new augments, more railjack missions, and 2 new protoframes. Here is everything you can expect from the latest update for Warframe!
What to Expect from Jade Shadows: Constellations in Warframe
Jade Shadows: Constellations’ cinematic quest is a direct sequel to the events that unfolded in 2024 in Jade Shadows. It will feature Sirius and Orion, the Stalker’s sons from another timeline, who go on a quest to search for him. The quest will be 30-40 minutes long, depending on how you play. The quest was first announced back in April on Devstream 195 with a stunning animation from The Line and “Crawl Backwards Out of Heaven” from Erra playing over it. It was a surprise, sure, but a very welcome one. How will this story unfold? Well, we’ll find out!
On Monday, Digital Extremes talked about the new Railjack missions coming in this update. There will be 2 new missions with a “cinematic” approach to how they play out. With new objectives and fluid transitions to the ending part, where you will get to take on one of two bosses (which are the 2 new protoframes in this update) that are mentors to either Sirius or Orion. You can team up with Ryoku, the Ash protoframe, to go after Vena, the Garuda protoframe, and vice versa. Each mission will have a unique Railjack that is themed visually after the protoframe you help. This update will also finally include Steel Path Railjack missions as well. This is the meat of the update, of course. But there are a ton of new things coming to the game with this update. Including new Incarnon adapters, a Nidus “retouch”, Dante’s deluxe skin, and new augments and arcanes.
Everything Else Coming with the Update
As previously mentioned, Dante is getting his first-ever deluxe skin in Warframe. It leans heavily into the owl aesthetic and looks awesome! You can also expect to earn 5 new incarnon adapters for:
- Vectis.
- Obex.
- Destreza.
- Ballistica.
- And the Stug.
There will be 4 new augments coming, including ones for
- Dante.
- Temple.
- Koumei.
- And Nokko.
You can find details on what they do here. There will also be 4 new arcanes, including ones that will alter Ability efficiency for warframes that create objects, and another centered around explosive primary weapons.
Finally, Nidus is getting a very meaty “retouch” to bring him up to modern-day standards. You can find the details down below!
Styanax Prime Arrives in Warframe with a Destiny 2 Homage
That’s not all that arrived in today’s update for Warframe. Styanax Prime is finally here! He arrived with the Afentis and Athodai Primes, with respective prime accessories in the usually priced bundles.
On a more touchy subject, this update also added a new alert in the Telesto mission node on Saturn. This alert will give any players who complete it a new honoria, or account title. The title will be “Make your own Fate” as a nod to Destiny 2, which has recently received its final update on June 9th.
