Wu Long Boss Guide – Taotie Strategy
Taotie is a huge ugly beast that is extremely slow. His attacks are slow and you really only have to worry about his unblockable attack. Although Taotie’s unblockable attacks are also slow, they can sometimes be hard to parry because at this point in the game, you are used to parrying faster attacks.
When you stagger Taotie, he will create some form of rocks covered in vines. You have to climb them up to hit his stagger spot the second time.
When you defeat him he will change into another form that is not hard to beat. The only thing you have to do is parry his charge unblockable charge attack. Be sure to attack his weak spot and repeat until you defeat him.
When to Heal
Healing is not an issue when fighting Taotie. Because he is slow and gives you a lot of chances to heal.
Sun Jian
Attack Patterns
- Basic Attacks
- Charge attack
- Slam attack
- Claw attack
- Leg slam move
- Tail backflip/swing attack
- Unblockable Attacks
- Dash attack
Wo Long Boss Guide – Sun Jian Strategy
Sun Jian is a fire lion demon dining oversized claws. He is extremely fast and loves consistently to get in your face. For this fight, you want to stay on him and make sure to guard and parry. It’s important that you parry with guarding because if you don’t, Sun Jian will stagger in no time.
This fight is all about guarding and parrying as much as possible. When your spirit blue bar is almost filled, make sure to use an R1/RB move to do as much damage to his stagger as possible. Sun Jian has an unblockable dash attack, but he rarely uses it. Though when he does, it will be quick so make sure you’re looking out for them.
When to Heal
Healing is mainly something you want to do when he over-commits to an attack and jumps ahead of you. But you don’t have long so do it the moment he jumps that far away from you.
Dong Zhuo
Attack Patterns
- Basic Attacks
- Basic spear attack
- Spear stab
- Jumping spear attack
- Unblockable Attacks
- Jumping spinning spear attack
Wo Long Boss Guide – Dong Zhuo
Dong Zhuo is a warrior with a long spear. He is aggressive and loves to use his reach against you. The best thing you can do here is to stay on Dong Zhuo and make sure you block and parry a lot.
He is quick to attack and rarely lets off of you. He does use unblockable attacks a bit, but less so compared to other bosses. The key tip is mainly about closing into the distance. Try getting a few good hits in and fall back. But always have your guard up and ready to parry, because Dong Zhuo uses his spear’s reach advantage to close in on you quickly.
When to Heal
Finding opportunities to heal in this fight can be challenging. But the good thing is unless he jumps at you, for the most part, you can run a bit and heal. Though be ready to parry any incoming attacks the moment you’re done healing.
