On Sunday, June 11th Xbox will hold a showcase for nearly two hours showing fresh looks at upcoming games as well as a 30-minute deep dive into Starfield. Unfortunately for Xbox PR two surprise announcements have leaked early ahead of the event.
Two New Persona Games
Xbox looks to make the most out of its Azure partnership with Sega, as it has clearly locked down two new Persona games. Earlier today, Atlus, the publisher of the JRPG Persona franchise accidentally posted two trailers on their Instagram. The first of which appears to be called Persona 5 Tactica or Persona 5 Tactics (it is not clear yet due to the region that posted the video). The second of which is a remake of Persona 3 titled, Persona 3 Reload.

Persona 3 Reload appears to be a modernization of the recently re-released Persona 3. While Persona 5 Tactica is a strategy game set within the Persona 5 universe. Persona 5 Tactica is dated November 17th, 2023. While Persona 3 Reload is slated to release in “early 2024.”
Persona 5, is widely considered to be one of the greatest JRPGs of all time. Last year Persona 5 Royal came to Xbox Game Pass after being stranded on PlayStation for over six years. With it came ports of Persona 4, and Persona 3.

Both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica are more than likely coming to all platforms when they release. Also, they appear to be cross-gen games, so the Switch is definitely in play. We will sure find out more on Sunday.
