The last few months have been a rollercoaster ride for the Xbox platform. Everything from the CMA blocking the Activision Blizzard deal, to some questioning Xbox leadership after the Redfall debacle, to the EU breathing life again into the ABK acquisition after approving it. Needless to say, if you’re an Xbox fan, recent times were turbulent to put it lightly. But now, we are in the midst of the much-beloved summer gaming convention season.
To say this year’s Xbox showcase is highly anticipated is an understatement. Fans are through the roof with hype and anticipation. This year’s Xbox Showcase promises to deliver to fans what they’ve been longing for, quality first-party games. Best of all, the Showcase is already confirmed that it will not feature any full CGI trailers. During the Xbox Showcase, fans got a glimpse of Star Wars: Outlaws.
Star Wars: Outlaws is a brand new game set in the Star Wars universe coming from Ubisoft in 2024. From the PR release, Ubisoft has described the game as, “Introducing scoundrel Kay Vess in the first-ever open-world Star Wars game. Experience the first-ever open-world Star Wars™ game, set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new.
