The last few months have been a rollercoaster ride for the Xbox platform. Everything from the CMA blocking the Activision Blizzard deal, to some questioning Xbox leadership after the Redfall debacle, to the EU breathing life again into the ABK acquisition after approving it. Needless to say, if you’re an Xbox fan, recent times were turbulent to put it lightly. But now, we are in the midst of the much-beloved summer gaming convention season.
To say this year’s Xbox showcase is highly anticipated is an understatement. Fans are through the roof with hype and anticipation. This year’s Xbox Showcase promises to deliver to fans what they’ve been longing for, quality first-party games. Best of all, the Showcase is already confirmed that it will not feature any full CGI trailers. During the Xbox Showcase, fans got a glimpse of PayDay 3.
Xbox Previewed PayDay 3 Bank Robberies
The co-op first person bank robbery game is back. As usual, players play with up to four other players and rob banks of various sizes. As they start the robbery, they need to manage hostages, and fend of armed reinforcements.
In the trailer, we saw new features, such as infrared gunsights, auto turrets, and wall or floor breaching capabilities. PayDay 3 was the first gameplay-driven trailer of the Xbox Showcase. Additionally, we got a release date for September 21st.
