PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium December 2023 Games Revealed
To cap off a successful 2023 for PlayStation, they revealed the final batch of games coming to their Extra and Premium Tiers of PlayStation Plus. Major games like GTAV and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins are the headline games but other noteworthy games also include the Classic Mega Man series via Legacy Collection 1 & 2 and various former Game Pass releases like Metal Hellsinger and Tinykin.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Tiers with a PS2 Surprise
The real surprise is the selection for the Classics section of Premium since it features a PlayStation 2 game for the first time. Various PS2 games have been part of the service since it launched, but all of them were part of the PS2 to PS4 initiative (with that emulator not running correctly on PS5 for specific games).
Said game is Thrillville: Off the Rails and here is the game’s description via Gematsu:
Experience the visceral fun of interacting with a theme park you create in this sequel to Thrillville as originally released on PlayStation 2, containing five new parks and 20 death-defying rides. You can distinguish your rides even more with enhanced customization options, attaching animatronics, flowers, and flaming hoops. But the new fun doesn’t stop there.
