The Game Awards: Matthew McConaughey Stars in Exodus

The Game Awards are back. A one-night-only celebration of all things gaming live from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Today, December 7th, the best games from the year will be recognized and a ton of game announcements will be made. With that, we have a look at Exodus, starring Matthew McConaughey.

McConaughey introduced the first World Premiere of the night. Most of the trailer featured a CGI trailer detailing numerous time travel plot moments. We got a brief montage of pre-alpha gameplay at the end of the announcement.

Exodus comes from Archetype Entertainment. They are a subsidiary/offshoot of Wizards of the Coast, best known for Dungeons and Dragons.

As an actor, McConaughey has built a strong career for himself. He won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club in 2014. He also starred in The Wolf of Wall Street, Kubo and the Two Strings, and more.
