News Roundup Week of 12/4/2023
Come peruse this week’s roundup of news stories for the week ending December 9, 2023.
Beginning of the Week
This week started with a bang when the Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA6) trailer was released early. We also covered the Armed Fantasia update for December ’23. The big news continued with Bethesda releasing a massive 11.8 GB update for Skyrim Special Edition. We also learned of some new voice-acting talent taking part in the upcoming Warframe expansion, Whisper in the Walls. And finally, the Remix Rumble had a small patch before the TFT Vegas Open.
The Game Awards
This year The Game Awards had around 50 announcements! It was incredible to see so many new projects back-to-back. While we can’t go over all of them here, some highlights included a free DLC for God of War Ragnarok, Valhalla. Rise of the Ronin has a release date. We also saw a release date from the visually stunning Black Myth Wukong. Visions of Mana will be a new entry in the Mana series. We will also see a new Marvel game from the makers of Deathloop and Dishonored, Arkane Lyon. We also covered the winners of the Awards show.
