The ESA is Teaming Up with Xbox
No not that ESA (RIP E3), the European Space Agency is teaming up with Xbox and Bethesda Games Studio, the creators of Starfield. The collaboration comes in the way of a spacesuit design competition.
Xbox and the ESA Launching a Spacesuit Design
Fans can submit their space suit designs from January 24 to February 24. To register and participate in the competition be sure to check out the official page right here.
A panel consisting of ESA representatives will assess the designs and select a winner. The winner will receive an exceptional prize package, including a custom-made wearable version of their spacesuit design, an Xbox Series X console, and a limited edition Starfield wireless headset and controller.
The purpose of ESA’s collaboration with Xbox and Starfield is to raise awareness about the challenges of space exploration in the gaming community and inspire a new generation of space enthusiasts. By encouraging gamers to explore the realm of space design, ESA hopes to ignite curiosity and passion for space exploration.
No doubt the space design competition will provide fans an opportunity to showcase their spacesuit designs.
Starfield’s Staying Power in the Newscycle
It’s no secret that Starfield was a mixed bag with reviewers and players alike. Despite that, the game is doing extremely well. The spacesuit design competition just goes to show that the game will prop up in the news cycle. But hey, the game was expected to have a long tail to begin with.
