While this week was a fairly light week overall for “new news”, let’s review what we did see. Then we’ll take a look back at 2023 and peek into 2024.
Video Game News Roundup week of December 31
We had our weekly Warframe Baro Ki’Teer update from Lord Joseph Repko. He also gave us an update on Soulframe Prelude. While that was it for news items, we did take a look back at some of what the 2023 games industry gave to us. Other than job loss in the highest revenue year of gaming ever.
Year in Review 2023
Here at LOGNET, we have our own Game of the Year awards. Find out who we thought had the best soundtrack this year. What about the best sound design? Find out the character that most impacted us. What was our best new IP? What dev team do you think we picked for the best developers of the year?
Read beyond the winner to find out some of the runners-up. We definitely didn’t all agree here, and that’s how it should be. People are going to experience things differently, and gaming is an incredible medium for these experiences.
