Warframe: Quassus Prime Build and Review
Going alongside both Xaku Prime and Trumna Prime, Quassus Prime is finally out in the wild. Bringing with it a second lease on life for viability in the endgame of Warframe. With a cool and stylish new look and devastating new capabilities with Tennokai and a heavy emphasis on heavy attacks. Quassus Prime is definitely a fantastic addition to your arsenal but first let’s go over the build for it before I offer more in-depth thoughts for it.
Quassus Prime Build in Warframe
Below is the build I have settled on for Quassus Prime, you will need at least 2 forma for it:
For starters, if you have Umbral forma on hand, you can swap out Galvanized Steel and Primed Pressure Point for their Sacrificial counterparts. But to keep it simple, a mix of radiation damage alongside a standard critical focus makes for an excellent combo in every activity. Melee Animosity is a great pick for building up to red crits, especially when the guaranteed slash procs from heavy attacks pump out crazy amounts of damage. For flavor you can choose to use either stance, or if you are feeling adventurous, you can choose Quickening over Primed Fury if you are using Naramon for better combo counter control.
Quassus Prime Review
From Steel Path, to Netracells and Archon Hunts, this build is very viable and fun. Quassus Prime is something I am not a very big fan of, but when I am using Xaku Prime, I am definitely getting my mileage out of it. The quills that fire out I think could maybe pierce through at least one foe to make them feel better when spamming heavy attacks in crowds. But when fighting bosses, it definitely melts their healths bars, especially the Stalker Acolytes in Steel Path.
While Quassus Prime was definitely a strange choice for Xaku’s Prime access, it is definitely paying dividends where it matters most. Definitely go for this weapon, especially since Deimos can be hard to farm alone.
