Warframe: 1999 is finally out, bringing with it a brand-new quest, mission types and a brand-new boss to take down. That being the Efervon Tank that you fight in the Warframe: 1999 quest. This guide will be a step-by-step walkthrough on how to progress and defeat it on any difficulty. But will not cover the secret harder version you can activate. This will only cover the normal and Steel Path version.

Warframe: 1999 Efervon Tank Walkthrough
As you progress through the mission and kill Scaldra, be aware of little devices that get dropped like you see below:

They will flash on screen after being far away but will disappear if you are too close. Pick this up and go to the terminal highlighted and do the mini game or use a cipher to skip it entirely. I recommend using a cipher in the Steel Path version as enemies can kill you easily.

Afterwards, track down the highlighted enemy and grab the RPG, then fire it at the highlighted wall. You will need to do the mini game at least 3 times to acquire 3 RPGs to progress to the tank fight itself.
After you get to the arena, the first phase plays out the same as it did in the quest. Just fire at the green circles around the tank, then find an enemy with an RPG for massive damage. Repeat this process twice, then you get to take on the Infested version of it.

The infested version will have multiple cysts around its armor, shooting those specifically will do the most damage. But before each health bar is depleted it will become invulnerable and summon adds to try and heal it. Kill these adds before they run up to it to prevent it from healing. This step is crucial for Steel Path runs. Afterwards, just repeat this same process again and then you will have defeated the tank.
Remember to grab the arcane it drops, and viola, you have beaten the Effervon Tank. It can be very easy on normal, but extremely hard to tackle on Steel Path, especially by yourself.
I hope this guide helps you against the Efervon Tank, Tenno!
