Warframe: EFV-5 Jupiter Build and Review

In Techrot Encore, there was a suite of new Scaldra weapons added to the ever growing arsenal in Warframe, from a slug launcher to a pair of dual sickles. But one that stands on its own is a bog-standard auto rifle called the EFV-5 Jupiter. This auto rifle is simple, yet effective. With an innate corrosive stat that helps it melt armor from the Scaldra with a great critical base stat duo that boosts its damage. But before we get into how effective it can be, let us go over our sites recommended build first.

EFV-5 Jupiter Recommended Build

Below will be our recommended build, that you will need at least 1 forma for:

For starters, going with a mix of magnetic, and gas combined with the corrosive stat is a good choice for missions in 1999. This is going to be a very standard critical focused build, however. With the works of Point Strike and Vital Sense for critical chance and damage boosts. As well as Galvanized Chamber and Serration with Hunter Munitions for that extra slash proc to deal bonus damage. Obviously, for the arcane, you can go with either Primary Merciless or go with Primary Crux. Primary Crux helps extend the magazine life and add bonus status chance, which is a great option for long firefights.

EFV-5 Jupiter in Warframe Review

To put it simply, the EFV-5 Jupiter is a well-rounded gun in the game. It’s reliable and will be good for crowd control and even has an alternate fire for better single target damage potential. But do not pick it up in Warframe expecting it to carry you in stuff like Netracells or Archon Hunts. It is a good weapon but won’t get the extra mile in the ways you need it to.
