When it comes to battery life, the HP OmniBook 5 14-inch and 16-inch laptops aim to set a new industry benchmark. The series is claimed to offer up to 34 hours of battery life—the longest among consumer AI PCs.
When it’s time to recharge, HP Fast Charge restores up to 50% battery in just 30 minutes. In particular, the OmniBook 5 Series laptops come with a compact 65W mini adapter, nearly 50% smaller and lighter than previous models. No doubt this will help keep things portable and compact for users on the go.

Co-engineered with Qualcomm, the OmniBook 5 Series is built to take advantage of AI computing power. Featuring dedicated AI engines in the Snapdragon X and X Plus processors, these devices handle complex tasks, enhance workflows, and provide a future-proof computing experience in a thin and lightweight design.
Copilot+ PC & HP AI Companion Software to Help Improve Workflows
HP is boasting about its AI Companion offers built-in tools for smarter workflows. This includes tools such as document analysis, PC optimization, and on-device intelligence.
A High-Impact Display with Immersive Collaboration Features
The HP OmniBook 5 Series with Snapdragon introduces 2K OLED displays—once reserved for premium devices—into mainstream consumer laptops. Of course, OLED panels are known for their vibrant colors, deep contrast, and near edge-to-edge visuals.
HP also touted the OmniBook 5 Series’ 1080p FHD IR camera. The camera can support single 5K external or dual 4K displays, and deliver exceptional audio quality with HP Audio Boost 2.0, dual speakers, discrete amplifiers, and AI-powered noise removal.
Sustainable Innovation with Recycled Materials
Designed with sustainability in mind, the AI-powered laptops are a part of the world’s most eco-friendly PC portfolio. This involves incorporating recycled metals and ocean-bound plastics within its lightweight aluminum chassis.
HP OmenBook 5 Series Pricing and Availability
- The HP OmniBook 5 14 with Snapdragon is expected to be available in July for a starting MSRP of $799.00 at hp.com. Moreover, the device is expected to be available at Amazon and Micro Center in June and at Best Buy and Costco in July.
- The HP OmniBook 5 16 with Snapdragon is expected to be available in July for a starting price of $849.00.
