A literal blast from the past made its way into Warframe with Jade Shadows Constellations. The third sentient primed item has made its way into the game, with surprisingly little grind attached to it. The primed version of War, which was released with the Second Dream quest in 2015, is finally available, and just like its normal counterpart, it is a very strong addition to your arsenal. It’s a critical-based weapon, so you will need to have the usual mods on it. Organ Shatter, Gladiator Might, Galvanized Steel, etc. You will also want Tennokai Enabled with Melee Animosity to bolster the critical damage output from the Tennokai when it procs. Aside from that, it’s a fairly simple build; you can go for any other combination of damage type mods if you want. I went for viral, so damage to enemy health is increased exponentially, but you can go for corrosive if you wish to strip armor from enemies.
As far as impressions go, however, this is just “War, but better”. It looks fantastic, but also lacks any unique features, sadly. It’s stronger than the original, but not having a unique trait of some kind feels like a missed opportunity. But how do you get War Prime in Warframe?
Where to get War Prime
After you finish the newest quest, Jade Shadows: Constellations, you will unlock a new location called the “Pontiff Tower”. Simply go to this location and browse the wares of the vendor there. You will see a “Trinket” for 12 Ryoku and Venas tokens, buy this, and build it in your foundry. You will then be given the War Prime.
