What Are The Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Gaming Glasses?

GUNNAR Optiks and HoYoverse are teaming up for a new licensed gaming glasses collab, and the first pair is based on Soldier 11 from Zenless Zone Zero.

The official Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Gaming Glasses have an MSRP of $99. They use a futuristic high-wrap shield frame inspired by Soldier 11, one of New Eridu’s more disciplined and tactical characters.

Which, yeah, that tracks. If you are making glasses based on Soldier 11, they probably should not look like something your accountant wears while asking if you kept your receipts. These needed to look a little sharp, a little loud, and a little “I absolutely have a combat playlist.”

GUNNAR And HoYoverse Pick Soldier 11 First

This is the start of a new collaboration between GUNNAR and HoYoverse, with Soldier 11 serving as the debut release.

That part is interesting because licensed gaming gear can go two ways. Sometimes it feels like a real design. Other times it feels like someone slapped a logo on the side and said, “Boom, gamer product.” Not exactly breaking news there.

At least here, the frame is trying to match the game. Zenless Zone Zero already has a strong style. The characters, menus, music, and city design all have that sharp, stylish, almost fashion-first thing going on. So if you are going to make a real-world product for that audience, it cannot look like basic office eyewear with a tiny logo hiding in witness protection.

The Soldier 11 glasses seem to understand that part.

Built For Screens, Not Just Shelf Candy

The Soldier 11 Gaming Glasses use GUNNAR’s patented lens technology, which is made to help reduce digital eye strain during long screen sessions.

GUNNAR says the glasses can help reduce dry eye irritation, muscular eye strain, artificial light exposure, glare, and visual noise. They also include 100% UV protection, plus premium anti-reflective and smudge-resistant lens coatings.

Basically, the pitch is simple: they are for people who spend a ton of time looking at screens. Gaming, work, editing, Discord, more gaming, checking one thing, and somehow losing 40 minutes. Normal modern behavior. Horrifying when written out loud, but normal.

The glasses will be available with Amber and Sun Neutral lens options.

Final Thoughts

The Zenless Zone Zero Soldier 11 Gaming Glasses are a smart first swing for this GUNNAR and HoYoverse collaboration.

At $99, this is probably going to hit hardest with Zenless Zone Zero fans, Soldier 11 mains, and people who already wanted gaming glasses but also wanted them to look less like generic blue-light blockers from a pharmacy rack.

And honestly, that is the whole thing here. The tech pitch is eye comfort. The fan pitch is Soldier 11. The style pitch is that these actually look like they belong somewhere near Zenless Zone Zero instead of being another random licensed thing trying to sneak into your cart.
