It’s amazing to see Konami slowly reclaim its spot as a premier publisher in gaming. After the successful Metal Gear Solid 3 and Silent Hill 2 remakes, alongside quality original games like Silent Hill f, the publisher is back at it again with several exciting games releasing in 2026 and beyond.
Here are the most exciting new reveals and trailers shown at the Konami Press Start Event!
Looking into the Fog – Silent Hill Townfall Spotlight
Kicking off the showcase are the familiar foggy streets of Silent Hill. The first person, Silent Hill Townfall, started the show, giving a spotlight on the talented cast voicing its mysterious and engaging characters.
The narrative is a paramount focus, with the writing team and the actors eager to deliver a horrifying performance when the game releases on September 24th, 2026. It launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store).
Bloody Tears – Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Trailer
Honoring the legendary franchise’s 40th Anniversary, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse was at the Konami Showcase. The game’s engaging combat mechanics, whip-swinging platforming, and awesome boss encounters were presented against the backdrop of an awesome remix of ‘Bloody Tears’.
Crafting New Ventures – KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft
From Bloody Tears to building worlds, Konami revdealed it’s take on Roblox and Minecraft with Wai Wai World Craft. This game creator gives players the freedom to make their own video game adventures. Players can use Konami IP as building blocks to make new and familiar adventures.
You can even play them with friends, similar to Roblox. The game is still in early development, with no release date given.
A Different Fantasy – Rev.NOIR Second Trailer
Following it’s reveal during one of Sony’s major showcases in 2026, Konami shared another trailer for the 2027 inbound Rev.NOIR. It’s a Action JRPG set in an original setting, with it “…where people live according to “Astral Ordinances,” but when a catastrophe known as the “Lightfall” hits the world, the main protagonist, Asch must set out on a quest that questions their Ordinances.”
Most exciting is that the game will launch on PC and Xbox Series platforms, in addition to PlayStation 5, when it releases in 2027.
Beneath the Mask – Rhapsody in Scarlet Revealed
Closing the show was the exciting reveal of a new IP. Rhapsody in Scarlet takes place in 1920’s New York City, with protagonist Ellie (Cherami Leigh) tasked with saving the world using her familiars. Between the striking art style, engaging combat evoking Devil May Cry 5’s V, and a jazzy score giving the game a distinct identity.
