What Is Mr. Freezy?
Aerial_Knight’s Mr. Freezy is a horror-inspired puzzle game about a mysterious woman who kidnaps men. She takes them to her basement workshop. Across New Detroit, authorities are hunting a serial killer they’ve named Mr. Freezy after discovering hundreds of severed heads hidden in freezers.
As I covered in my earlier introduction to Mr. Freezy, the game combines that bizarre setup with combo-building, different head mechanics, and replayable levels built around chasing scores. The studio calls it a light-hearted puzzle experience about decapitating men. That description alone gives you a pretty good idea of its sense of humor.
What Is the Mr. Freezy DLC?
’Tis the season for some Halloween screaming, as we say around here. Aerial_Knight is giving players a thank-you for supporting Mr. Freezy. The free DLC adds a clown head and the One Bad Day perk, which can turn heads into evil clowns.
Why I Keep Following Mr. Freezy
The bizarre premise and dark humor are appealing, and all the artwork we’ve featured in our coverage is beautiful. Aerial_Knight’s willingness to make something this quirky is a big part of why I support his work. I’m looking forward to trying the game and its new DLC myself.
