Streets Of Rage 4: Technical Director Cyrille Lagarigue Interview At PAX East 2020

Streets of Rage 4 is the newest installment in the beloved side-scrolling beat ’em up franchise. The last installment in the franchise was all the way back in 1994 with Streets of Rage 3. Now in 2020, the game will get a brand new installment thanks to the partnership of developers. Streets of Rage 4 is being developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games with the blessing of Sega. The game brings old school side-scrolling gameplay with modern and fresh animations. Every time we see this game, it only seems to get better and better.

Lord Cognito of the Iron Lords Podcast was lucky enough to sit down and chat with Cyrille Lagarigue once again. Cyrille is the Co-founder of Guard Crush Games and is the Technical Director on the game. They talk about improvements made to the game since we last saw it.
