PlayStation 5 Reveal Event: OddWorld: Soulstorm Coming to PS5

Oddworld: Soulstorm trailer was unveiled during Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal event. Developer Oddworld Inhabitants are industry veterans and have taken the Oddworld franchise across several console generations.

Oddworld games are known to sport a unique art style along with light-hearted humor. Oddworld: Soulstorm will make use of PlayStation 5’s 3D audio capabilities along with DualSense Controller features.

The game picks up right after where New ‘N’ Tasty left off. Everyone’s favorite gassy Abe will reprise the protagonist role and will make his next-generation debut in Oddworld: Soulstorm on the PlayStation 5.

The game is expected to have some light RPG elements, leaderboards, progression system, and should set a standard for next-generation adventure platformer titles. Oddworld: Soulstorm is slated for a 2020 release. Yet, no specific date was mentioned or whether it’ll feature on other platforms.
