Sony has added a number of neat features to the PS5, one of which includes a section showing hours played.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably been curious as to how much time you’ve sunk into your games. Now, on PlayStation 5, you can take a look a just how long you’ve poured into your entire portfolio.
Finding Your Hours Played on PS5
Once your shiny, new system is set up, go through these steps to find your playtime:
- Head to the upper right corner of the main menu and select your profile image.
- Next, a drop-down menu will appear. You’ll want to select Profile, found just above Trophies.
- Lastly, just jump to the Games tab and you’re ready to go.
From here, you can see each of your games neatly ordered by, most recently played. As you scroll down, each game will have trophy progress and number earned, displayed beside it. In terms of PS4, you are also covered. This new feature on PS5 will also include all of those games you have played on PS4.
Another cool bit is that you can also see your friend’s playtime. For this, you simply jump to the Friends tab instead of Games, during the 3rd step. Now, for those curious players, comparing playtime’s is easier than ever before.
Finally getting to see total hours played in your games on PS5, might be a rude awakening. But, it is a feature, many players have clamored, for quite some time. Now, I can see the inhumane number of hours I’ve spent in The Witcher 3 in crisp 4k and all its glory. And then, wonder what I’ve done with my time.
