Xbox Adds Over 70 Games To Backward Compatibility

It has been almost 2 years since Xbox has added games to its backward compatibility initiative. While they have supplemented this by creating other great features such as FPS boost, there still remained many fan-favorite titles left behind on previous hardware. That changed today, as a wealth of titles have just been added to the backward compatibility service.

Today during the Xbox 20th anniversary live stream it was revealed that over 70 titles would now be available through the backward compatibility program on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. There are some incredibly big titles joining the program across a variety of genres. From the entire FEAR franchise, as well as the Max Payne trilogy, marking the only way to play Max Payne 3 on a modern console. It is a big day for fans of older titles as a variety of already backward compatible titles will be getting the FPS Boost treatment. Most notably the entire Gears of War franchise as well as Fallout: New Vegas will hugely benefit from this feature.
