Silt is a 2D stylistic and silhouette-drenched underwater adventure game diving onto consoles and PC, June 1st. Developed by Spiral Circus and published by Fireshine Games, Silt looks to satisfy that itch we gamers have been looking for when it comes to 2D puzzle-based exploration.
Spiral Circus has been hard at work giving Silt an enticing atmosphere. It looks to be the equivalent of a surrealist painting. Well, a surrealist painting that moves continuously underwater, that is.
Set in a mystifying underwater abyss, you play as a small diver trying to find your way through the deep, dark sea. You’re only equipment is your diving helmet and bioluminescence from the haunting sea creatures lighting the way.

Possessing sea creatures will also help you on your journey to solve environmental puzzles and navigate through dangerous environments. This, along with careful swimming, will seemingly help you avoid the dangers that lurk around every corner.
Critically-acclaimed titles like Playdead’s Inside and Limbo seem to bring inspiration to Silt’s fresh art direction. The gothic and eerie undertones provide a great amount of intrigue and thus make it all the more eager to play.

Furthermore, with mysterious exploration, beautiful art direction, and an intriguing possession mechanic, an immersive experience seems to be waiting at the start of the Summer. Silt indeed seems like it’s going to be a pleasant surprise.
