The last Devstream before Tennocon has wrapped up on all official Warframe channels. This Devstream was packed to the brim with exciting reveals for the game’s community. Including all details on the next update, Jade Shadows: Constellations, Tennocon 2026, and much, much more. Below will be a comprehensive breakdown of everything Devstream 196!
Everything From Devstream 196 for Warframe
They kicked off the Devstream with some details about their involvement with Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest on June 5th. Firstly, there will be a unique Twitch drop for the stream. You can get a free Dante warframe for watching the show for 30 minutes. As well as dropping a new trailer for their upcoming fantasy MMORPG, Soulframe, during the show!

Next, they went over some details for TennoCon 2026. Including the full schedule for both days. They also detailed that the event will take place in the Canada Life Place arena, and not the usual RBC Place convention hall. That’s right, TennoCon is getting an upgrade for attendees! Speaking of TennoCon 2026, on the same day as all of the exciting reveals for both of their games, they will be launching the Mesa Heirloom skin. Expect this pack to be buyable on July 11th. They also revealed a not-so-surprising Prex Card for it (I see you, DE).

They also shared their condolences on Creative Director, Rebecca Ford, not being present at TennoCon 2026. She is undergoing surgery during the event to take care of something she has been dealing with for a while. From us at Lords of Gaming to Digital Extremes, we wish her well. She will be missed at TennoCon this year.
The Next Prime Frame, Styanax
To no surprise, the next Prime warframe is going to be Styanax Prime. His design is made by Liger Inuzuka, who also made the above Mesa Heirloom skin. He will be arriving with two Prime weapons. The Afentis Prime and the Athodai Prime. All 3 will feature improved stats, with Afentis and Athodai being more critical-focused weapons.

After this, they went into so much more detail about the next major update, Jade Shadows: Constellations. Which will be arriving in a few weeks.
Jade Shadows: Constellations Arrives June 17th
The next major quest is coming in less than 3 short weeks, so get ready! It will, as always, be a free update for all players. This quest will be about 30-40 minutes, and players will have a special key art for the name they chose during Jade Shadows. This quest will feature post-game content for the Railjack game mode (with Steel Path missions on the way!) There will be a special in-game hub that is separated between Vena and Ryoku, the newest protoframes for Warframe.

The new Railjack missions will be more “streamlined”. This means that the objectives will not require player transportation via Archwing and will be a little more cinematic in their approach between the Railjack and the ship boarding part of the mission. There will also be a puzzle in these missions that can unlock a unique signa for players to earn. Everything will culminate in a boss fight that will give you a chance at earning Sirius and Orion’s parts. Speaking of which…
How Sirius and Orion will work in Warframe
Sirius and Orion were shown off in full detail, including how they function. They will have an “Equinox” approach with an “Excalibur Umbra” twist. Let me explain.
Sirius and Orion will be individually customizable. This means both will be equipped like the Vinquibus for rifle and melee in your inventory. This includes their cosmetics and mod screens, and you can choose who you start missions with. They will also have two unique ability sets, and both can be swapped between interchangeably by holding an ability before you cast it. Their passive creates a “constellation” of greens and reds on a little map on your UI when using them. Starting with Sirius:
- His first ability is a scythe throw that deals fire damage and grabs pickups along the way.
- The second ability creates an aura around him that adds extra damage to his weapons.
- His third ability is an area-of-effect healing bubble that can revive players on a cooldown and offer damage reduction.
And for Orion:
- His first ability is a short-range scythe switch that strips armor and deals a guaranteed slash proc.
- The second ability creates a decoy.
- His third ability creates an area-of-effect black hole that travels forward and sucks up enemies. You can use the first ability from either Sirius or Orion to move it around.
The fourth ability is static between them. They will levitate in the area and clash into one another, creating a giant explosion around them. You can choose when to do each clash, and switching between Sirius and Orion, depending on what color the constellation is, will increase the damage and critical chance.

Simply put, they are the most intricate Warframes we have ever gotten. They will come with a signature melee weapon called “Pride” if used with Sirius, or “Wrath” when used with Orion. Pride is more focused on status chances, while Wrath is more focused on critical chance and damage. Their signature syandana is fully earnable and craftable as well.
New Augments, Incarnons, and Arcane Details
They wrapped up the stream with some reveals of the new augments, arcanes, and incarnons coming with the next Warfrane update. The Vectis incarnon shoots energy balls that explode when you get headshots (or don’t, if you hit the body). The Stug incarnon creates multiple balls that explode from the original ball fired from it.

They showed off two augments for Dante and Temple. Dante’s creates birds when you use the alternate fire from Noctua, while Temple’s gives everyone overguard when you use abilities on the beat. Finally, they showed off two new arcanes. One Warframe Arcane that gives the frame 175% base power efficiency for a duration when they create objects (think Nokko and Follie). While a primary arcane for explosive weapons was shown that gives it bonus damage and ammo efficiency when you aim with it, it sacrifices the range of the explosion and gives the buff based on how much range is removed.
Closing Remarks on Devstream 196 for Warframe
This Devstream was fun and filled with a lot for players to look forward to until TennoCon 2026 blows the lid off for info on Tau. There are, of course, quality-of-life improvements coming and even a Nidus “retouch” that you can read about in our Devstream 195 breakdown article here! They also talked about the fact that FSR3 and DLSS4 are being added to Warframe in Jade Shadows: Constellations.
