Delays have been an almost constant part of the past few years within the video game industry. From the original challenges caused by the pandemic, and the shift to a work-from-home environment. It has had a continued ripple effect on the industry as studios adjust and manage their releases while trying to balance employee health. Now a much-anticipated game Evil West has been hit with a short delay, but fans excited about the game won’t have that much longer to wait.
Announced today via the published Focus Entertainment, Evil West has officially been delayed to November 22nd, 2022. Originally slated for September 20th, 2022, developers Flying Wild Hog stated that they needed more time to deliver on fan expectations and give a truly polished experience. With Evil West launching across 5 platforms as well as multiple generations of consoles, it makes sense that they simply wanted a bit more time to iron out the game. After the debacle that was Cyberpunk 2077, many video game fans appear to be much more forgiving when it comes to delays. Especially when it is a simple 2-month delay, in the grand scheme of things it is not that big of a deal. There will be plenty of big titles to play this Fall. From Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to God Of War Ragnarok, there is no shortage of games to play before Evil West launches this November.
