PSVR2 Is Set To Release In Early 2023
PSVR2 is the hotly anticipated next entry into the Virtual Reality market. While we have been learning a lot about all the technology that will be packed into the headset. There has been one piece of information that many people have been clamoring for, and that of course is the release date of the headset. While many rumors have been circulating of an early 2023 release date. It appears today we have official confirmation from PlayStation about the release window for the headset.
Today, the official PlayStation Japan Twitter account posted a simple tweet that simply stated “PSVR 2 Early 2023 release”. While this has always been the assumed release window for the headset. This is the first time PlayStation itself has put a timeframe out into the public space. We will undoubtedly hear more about PSVR2 in the upcoming months up to its release. As there is still plenty of unknown factors about the headset. From its price point to what the official lineup of games will be. But for now, it is great to know that in early 2023 there will be a new VR headset on the market for consumers to get their hands on. Hopefully, PlayStation won’t face any supply issues with the headset at launch, which has been a major struggle until recently for the PlayStation 5 console.
