Rumor: Warframe Duviri Paradox Leaks are Popping Up
Back in 2019 during Tennocon, Digital Extremes announced The Duviri Paradox. An unbelievably mysterious update for their marquee title Warframe. The update has been in the dark for the majority of 2020 and 2021. During Tennocon last year, they showcased alongside Veilbreaker, a vertical slice of The Duviri Paradox. They were giving fans like myself much-needed reassurance that the update was still on track. As well as a release date for the winter of last year to go alongside it to maintain the hype.
However, that release date had to be pushed back for quality assurance reasons. No concrete day or month was given when it was delayed. But as the internet usually does, information has one way of coming out regarding any game. Such as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, among others. As such, recently there have been leaks regarding the update. No screenshots or video footage have been leaked. But instead, there has been data mining that has surfaced stuff coming in the update.
What this Means for Duviri Paradox
As is the nature of leaks, I will not be sharing any direct details out of respect for the developers. But I do advise you to not look into them as speculation on what anything you read could lead to misplaced expectations. If the leaks are real. During Devstream 166, Creative Director Rebecca Ford stated that The Duviri Paradox will be an update that “recontextualizes” Warframe as a whole. Meaning that the update will not just be a “cut and dry” open world and story quest to accompany it. You should expect big changes alongside it. What those changes will be, however, is up to the developers to show you in due time.
In the meantime, please keep your eye on the official channels for Warframe. Such as their social media, YouTube, and Twitch for all upcoming news and trailers. If you still have yet to see the official gameplay of The Duviri Paradox you can watch it here.
