Starfield is an RPG set in the vast reaches of the universe. Subsequently, players can create a unique character to pilot their adventures through the stars. The game boasts freedom and unique player choice to pioneer the next generation of RPGs. This game is under the care of the creatives behind The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. Thus, it has generated much excitement.
Fans will not have to wait too long. Bethesda Game Studios has given their new game a release date. Players can jump into a new galactic adventure on September 6, 2023. However, it is exclusive to Xbox Series X|S and PC. People who own these systems can play Starfield on Gamepass as well. Furthermore, Todd Howard announced another deep dive into the game coming this summer. Tune in for the Starfield Direct on June 11.
However, there is still cause for some concern. Phil Spence and Xbox Studios promised this game’s release to lie in the first half of 2023. They held to this belief when questioned until now. This Starfield release date trailer brings the first word of anything that has changed. Essentially, the game was delayed again internally. Fans should also note the absence of its release in 2022 as well.
Today, it is better to take extra time to polish products in the video game industry. No one wants a repeat of Cyberpunk: 2077. However, I feel it is nigh impossible for Starfield to live up to the hype similar to Cyberpunk. Only time will tell. What are your thoughts on Starfield? Has Todd Howard caught lightning in a bottle twice? Let us know in the comments down below. For all things Starfield, remember to bend the knee in the realm of Lords of Gaming.
