The summer gaming conference and convention season is in full force. Although the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was officially canceled this year after multiple publishers pulled out of the event, plenty of other showcases are quickly filling the void. Geoff Keighley, the showrunner of The Game Awards, is leading the pack with his Summer Game Fest showcase, which includes over two hours of game announcements. Among them comes the official announcement of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release window.
Summer Game Fest 2024 – Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Releasing Early 2023
The direct sequel to the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake is not far along. Gamers can expect to play the game sometime in early 2024. Now the word “early” can mean a lot of things. But it’s safe to assume that it should come window as 12 month period or less.
With the launch of Final Fantasy XVI right around the corner, it seems like the long-running series still manages to captivate the imagination of its audience. While also sparking debate about how much it has or has not changed over the decades. Regardless, Final Fantasy is a franchise that has stood the test of time.
FFVII Rebirth is slated to release on PlayStation 5 in early 2024.
