I was treated to a pleasant Media Briefing with the team over at HP Gaming brands: HyperX and OMEN! This meeting discussed a new lineup of prebuilt PC’s titled Omen 35L, A lineup of new peripherals titled HyperX QuadCast 2/2s, and the HyperX Alloy Rise 75
In this article, I will be sharing the details about the new USB Mics and the new Wireless Keyboard from HyperX.
QuadCast 2
Before I talk about the products they present a rather funny and interesting analysis. Apparently, more than half of Gen-Z are interested in a career as an influencer. This just means having good audio has become even more essential.1

The QuadCast 2 is a USB Microphone that has a 24-bit, 96kHz frequency. This offers highly accurate audio reminiscent of a professional studio recording. This mic comes fully loaded with features such as a tap to mute, a toggle between 4 polar patterns (Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid, Bi-Directional), a 3.5mm headphone jack, nob to adjust mic gain, playback volume, and microphone monitoring volume. This Mic even has a detachable shock mount. On top of all this, The HyperX QuadCast 2 has a rather ambient red hue to it. The compatibility section of the spec sheet shows this mic can be used on PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and the software HyperX NGENUITY.
QuadCast 2s
The QuadCast 2s has all of the same features as the QuadCast 2 with a few additions. The difference here is in the 32-bit, 192kHz fidelity, AI noise reduction, and the fact that it has a ton of individually customizable RGB lights. This allows for a very subtle but striking element to a creator’s content. Another note is that the spec sheet for the QuadCast 2s states that it is only compatible with PC, Mac, and their HyperX NGENUITY software

Alloy Rise 75 Wireless Gaming Keyboard
The last product that they showcased is the Alloy Rise 75 Wireless Keyboard. This I believe is considered to be a TKL keyboard. This means a full-sized keyboard but one that is missing the number pad. So smaller and a bit more compact.
The keyboard has a pretty large battery, it is claimed to have up to 80 hours with backlighting and up to 1500 hours with the backlight turned off. There’s even a feature where the keyboard adjusts lighting based on the environment.

Keyboard customization
This keyboard can be customized in multiple different ways. The RGB backlight can be changed but on top of that, it has a removable faceplate, a Cute little badge on the right side by the volume knob, and swappable switches on the keys. Linear switches are included with the purchase of this keyboard. The HyperX Alloy Rise 75 also offers both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth forms of connection.

My HyperX thoughts
Both mics and the wireless keyboard look to be an amazing add-on to a gamers repertoire. I can attest to the quality of HyperX products. I purchased a HyperX Cloud II headset back in 2020 and it still holds up and works well to this day!
