Warframe Koumei and The Five Fates Announced

During TennoLive last month at TennoCon 2024, Digital Extremes announced two new updates for Warframe. One that has already come out called The Lotus Eaters, and one mysterious update called “Unannounced Update 2024” which was slated for the fall of this year. This update had very little shown off about it due to the fact it would be shown during Tokyo Game Show this year. However, they did go over the fact this update would include a full Caliban rework and have a lot of themes around Japanese culture. It all made sense, but we did not learn more about this update mainly what it would be until a few days ago, as Digital Extremes hosted a TennoVIP party at Gamescom this year and revealed to attendees that it would be called “Koumei and The Five Fates”.

What we Know About Koumei and The Five Fates

For starters, there is no release date for Koumei and The Five Fates. But details like the release date will be shown during Tokyo Game Show this year, which starts on the 26th of September. They have confirmed that they will be hosting a live Devstream from this event, similar to PAX East, and considering Digital Extremes always does Devstreams on Fridays. One can assume that this Devstream will be on the 27th, considering the 26th on a Thursday.

Koumei and The Five Fates will feature a new warframe, and considering the naming convention is similar to updates like Abyss of Dagath or Dante Unbound, Koumei might be the name of the next warframe. This update will also feature as previously mentioned a full rework for Caliban, and a Deluxe Skin for him. They have confirmed that Caliban will be given away in this update as well.

Volt will also be given a new Deluxe skin, tallying him up to having three deluxe packs altogether. Below will be how that deluxe skin looks.
