Devshorts 29 for Warframe Breakdown
Yesterday, Digital Extremes went over some minute details for the upcoming “Koumei and the Five Fates” update that will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show during Devstream 181 on September 27th:
- They confirmed there will be multiple videos showcasing the second part of the Companions Rework during the Devstream.
- In Koumei and the Five Fates kitguns will now be able to equip the semi-auto “Cannonade” mods which will no doubt be a boon for the custom-made weapons that have been mostly forgotten in recent years.
- Omnia Fissures will now count towards Nora Nightwave challenges, such as the one that requires you to open one of each type of relic.
- The Murmur enemy faction kill stats on player profiles are also coming along with Koumei & the Five Fates.
- Warframe’s color tints are getting a slight rework to get more fidelity akin to some color’s original tint hues on specific character and weapon assets within the Arsenal. This will also go live with the launch of Koumei & the Five Fates but will continue to be refined from community feedback over the following weeks.
- Koumei and the Five Fates will also improve upon the new player experience significantly, and they are looking into streamlining things with Warframe: 1999.
- Soulframe Preludes version 6 is now available, featuring new content and changes for players who have been invited to play it including updated animations, combat pacing, skill system progression, and more. They also confirmed that version 7 of the Preludes is being worked on, which may be the version that launches to the public in the fall.
- Finally, they released a music teaser for Koumei and the Five Fates on their YouTube channel called “What is my fate?” below you can listen to the song.
But that wraps this breakdown of the weekly Devshorts episode, if you would like to watch the full stream for any minute details, you can do so here.
