Warframe: Amir’s Shockwave Arrives on August 12th

First revealed at TennoCon 2026: the next Nightwave for Warframe is going to be a very different and more fun approach as opposed to past Nightwaves. That is because the members of the Hex from Warframe: 1999 are going to be taking over (or Amir, the Volt Protoframe specifically) in a Dungeons & Dragons-themed track for players to enjoy for free. Not only that, but there are going to be more KIM messages with the Hex in their group chat as they go on a little adventure in the in-universe version of Dungeons & Dragons, Fables & Frontiers.

What to Expect from Amir’s Shockwave in Warframe

Amir’s Shockwave will be the next Nightwave, the battle pass system in Warframe. Nightwave’s consist of 30 fully free earnable rewards that range from cosmetics to usable items, and even weapon augments. The battle pass is free, and you cannot pay to skip the reward track. As mentioned before, this Nightwave is going to have a unique theme, where most of its cosmetic rewards will be centered around 1999 and the Fables & Frontiers game in-universe.

There are daily and weekly challenges each week as well. Some of which are getting direct improvements. Such as the Index’s “finish 3 rounds without the enemy scoring a point,” requiring only 3 rounds to be finished instead of having to worry about the enemy team scoring. Not to mention certain challenges being removed, like the one where you have to hijack an enemy ship in Railjack and kill enemies with it.

The rewards from the Nightwave will be as follows, from the official forum post:

  • Drippy Floof
  • Techrot Armor Bundle
  • Globakk Syandana
  • Submeower Decoration
  • Prototype Shock Coils (augment for unknown weapon)
  • Drippy Dog Days Glyph
  • Teisatz Oculus
  • Xaku Raya Bundle
  • Drippy Sugatra
  • Come Here Emote
  • Wirematrix Ephemera
  • Overpressured Rounds (augment for unknown weapon)
  • Entropic Color Palette
  • 90’s Kid (Honoria)
  • Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia

All of this is coming on August 12th to Warframe and will most likely be running for about half a year, so do not stress if you miss a week or two!
