Fall Guys Is The Most Downloaded PS+ Game Ever
As if Fall Guys wasn’t already a hit, it’s now breaking all-time records and becoming the summer’s true success story.
PlayStation UK announced today that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has become the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time. Previous reports claimed over 8 million PlayStation users were playing the jellybean version of the goofy obstacle-course television series Wipeout. Now we have official confirmation that the game is incredibly successful on PS4.

Falling Into Success on PS+
But the success doesn’t stop on PS4. Publisher Devolver Digital hit 7 million units sold on Steam, making it a giant success for the developers.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout reached those sale numbers in less than a month. The game released on PS4 and PC August 4. While the developers didn’t announce if it was coming to other platforms, don’t rule out Xbox, Switch or Mobile versions just yet.
The game is available on Steam now. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the game for free for the month of August. Appealing multiplayer indie titles seem to do extremely well on PlayStation, with Rocket League being the first example of phenomenal reception for a game included with PS Plus.

What’s Next
Safe to say, Fall Guys is on track to do even better numbers than Rocket League at this pace. To keep the hype train going, tomorrow’s Gamescom 2020 will debut Season 2 of Fall Guys. What this entails is anyone’s guess, but hopefully, new stages are included.
