One of the PlayStations’ biggest games this generation was no doubt God of War (2018). A game that took some serious risks, and was a departure from the previous installments. Sony Santa Monica truly captured something special with the game. So you would have to imagine that the hype for a God of War sequel would be absolutely massive? You are absolutely right, as, during today’s PlayStation event, they showed a very short teaser trailer of the upcoming game.
While there are very few details at this time other then the phrase “Ragnarok is coming”. That and of course the date that accompanied this teaser. Teasing a 2021 date at the end of the trailer. It remains to be clear whether that means we will see more of the game in 2021. Or if it means that the game will release in 2021. Regardless, the hype meter for a sequel to one of the best games on the PlayStation 4 is a welcome sight to be seen. We look forward to hearing more about the game in the upcoming months.
