Next Grounded Update Arrives September 30th

Grounded patch 0.3.0 will arrive with the game’s second monthly content update on September 30th. Patch notes for the game are currently now fully available. Grounded has been updated quite consistently since launching into Game Preview only a few months ago. Additionally, there have already been new blueprints released for construction and crafting; new creatures, environment changes, and a whole lot more in previous Grounded content updates.

Previous: Grounded Patch 0.2.1 released with fixes to save files and more

You can already get a preview of what’s to come in the Grounded patch 0.3.0 if you join up or are already a part of the “Public Test Branch”, or PTR. The PTR is currently only available for Steam, but is coming to consoles at a later point in time.

Currently, what we know about patch 0.3.0 is limited to the patch notes for the Public Test Branch. Keep in mind that those patch notes are not final, and Obsidian are probably hiding additional changes to the final version of Grounded patch 0.3.0. For more information on the Public Test Branch and the patch notes associated with it, as well as how to join, please go here: Grounded Public Test Branch (PTR): Here’s how to join

0.3.0 Patch Notes

The article will be updated accordingly with the Grounded patch 0.3.0 notes when available. In the meantime, feel free to check out the Grounded Developer Vlog 6 – “A Day in the Life…”. The vlog provides an exciting look as to how the insects of Grounded go about their daily lives. They surprisingly have moods that need to be taken care of. Here is an excerpt from Xbox Wire about the A.I. system used for the insects in Grounded.

The GOAP A.I. system creates exciting gameplay possibilities for players. And as we continue to add new insects during Xbox Game Preview and Steam Early Access, things will get even more interesting, and we’re looking forward to pushing gameplay to enhance the player experience.
