Destruction AllStars: How To Get AllStar Coins & Destruction Points
Destruction AllStars has finally released on PS5 and is free to download for active PS Plus subscribers. The game comes packed with cosmetics that have to be purchased with the in-game currencies AllStar Coins and Destruction Points. So, how do you get them?
From colorful banners to identifiable icons to stylish skins, Destruction AllStars gives you a ton of collectibles to work for. The game offers two kinds of currencies: AllStar Coins and Destruction Points. Both are used to purchase the many customizable items in the game.
AllStar Coins are earned by leveling up your profile. For every level you gain, 1,000 AllStar Coins are added to your profile. The best way to level up is by playing online matches and earning experience. They cannot be earned in single-player modes, like Arcade or story-based Challenge Series.
Character skins go for around 8,000 coins while icons and banners can range from 100 to 1,000 coins. So, save up! Experience points are quite easy to rack up in multiplayer. After an hour or two, you will more than likely have enough to buy a character skin.

How To Get Destruction Points
Unlike AllStar Coins, Destruction Points cannot be earned through in-game activities. Rather, Destruction Points is the premium currency that has to be purchased with real-world money. In other words, they are the game’s microtransactions. The microtransactions are priced at $5 for 500 DP, $10 for 1,000 DP, and $20 for 2,000 DP.
Many customization items in the game can only be purchased with AllStar Coins AND Destruction Points. The character-specific Challenge Series The Leader of the Pack featuring Lupita will cost 200 DP. A second Challenge Series starring Ultimo Barricado is available for free at launch. More challenge packs for the game’s characters are being planned for post-launch release.
