There is a new Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked Update, and fans can rejoice. Resolution Games has officially launched “The Acquisitions Incorporated Update,” a free content update that brings the chaotic world of Penny Arcade’s Acquisitions Incorporated into the growing Dungeons & Dragons experience.

The new Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons Battlemarked Update introduces five new quests, comedic storytelling, and additional cross-platform content for players across Steam, Meta, and PlayStation.

Omin Dran Brings Chaos to Battlemarked

At the center of the update is Omin Dran, the well-known CEO of the fictional adventuring company Acquisitions Incorporated. Voiced once again by Jerry Holkins, Omin introduces players to a string of questionable business ventures that quickly spiral into dangerous adventures.

Players can encounter Omin inside the Emerald Tavern during Campaign 1, where he begins recruiting adventurers for increasingly risky operations involving infiltration, magical experimentation, and plans that probably should not have been approved in the first place.

According to Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm, the crossover introduces a completely different tone to the game compared to the main campaign.

“Where our core campaign leans toward the more heroic and grounded, this update fully embraces chaos, comedy, and the kind of plans that sound brilliant right up until everything goes horribly wrong in true Acquisitions Incorporated fashion.”

Jerry Holkins, co-creator of Penny Arcade and one of the minds behind Acquisitions Incorporated, also shared excitement about the collaboration and the opportunity to bring the long-running comedy franchise into the Demeo universe.

Five New Side Quests Expand Campaign 1

The Acquisitions Incorporated storyline is woven directly into Campaign 1 as an additional “B Plot” adventure. Players can experience the content alongside the core campaign or tackle the new missions separately after defeating the main campaign boss.

The update includes five side quests that offer roughly 2-4 hours of gameplay, depending on player skill level and party coordination.

Throughout the adventure, players will revisit familiar locations, encounter multiple enemy factions, and chase after the promise of riches that may or may not actually materialize by the end of the journey.

As expected from Acquisitions Incorporated, the update heavily leans into comedy while still maintaining the tactical gameplay that defines Battlemarked.

Resolution Games Continues Expanding Battlemarked

With ongoing support and new DLC planned later this year, the Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons Battlemarked Update continues expanding the game’s growing tabletop-inspired adventure experience.

Built using the Demeo Action Roleplaying System, the game blends fast-paced turn-based combat with the social feel of tabletop roleplaying, allowing friends to experience Dungeons & Dragons adventures without requiring a dungeon master.

The studio also confirmed that additional paid DLC is planned for later this year, signaling that Battlemarked will continue receiving major support throughout 2026.

Discount Available Through May 31

Players interested in jumping into the adventure can currently purchase Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked at a 20% discount through May 31. The game is available on Steam, Meta Horizon, and PlayStation platforms.

The free Acquisitions Incorporated Update is playable now for all owners of the game and supports cross-play across supported devices, including Steam on PC, Steam Deck, Steam VR, Mac, Meta Quest 2/3/3s, PlayStation 5, and PS VR2.
