Diablo II: Resurrected Open Beta Date Leaked
For players who need to jump back into Diablo II, they don’t have to wait long. Apparently, the Open beta for Diablo II: Resurrected will begin this month. The Microsft store seems to be the culprit behind this newly leaked information.
Numerous sites are now reporting that a listing posted on Reddit has been circulating the date of release. Sadly Microsft caught on and changed the games page to show no date. Thankfully some smart gamer was able to take a screenshot of the Diablo II: Resurrected page before it was changed.

The date was set for August 17th, 2021 which is only ten days away from the date of writing this article. Given that the game is set to be released on September 23rd, it seems like the beta should be happening this week. Since players are busy enjoying early access to Back 4 Blood‘s beta, it would seem like a waste of time to try to get players to play both.
Now for those players like me who pre-ordered the game will be to join the beta a little early. So we might be playing the game around the 13th. At the moment Activision Blizzard has yet to announce a date. So we just have to look at this as a rumor with a few grains of truth smashed into it.
