Tekken 7 Passes Over 10 Million Copies Sold
Fighting games have long been a pillar of the video game industry. From the early days of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, and many others the genre values competition over everything. While so many games have come to focus on making their games easier to pick up and play. Many fighters continue to balance entry-level difficulty with a high skill ceiling that makes players pursue to be better. With all this being said, it is an incredibly tough genre to get into for newbies, but many people have been making the leap. This is especially true with Tekken 7 which has hit a major sales milestone this week.
Tekken 7 Hits High
In an official press release from developer/publisher, Bandai Namco Tekken 7 has officially sold over 10 million copies across all platforms. Tekken 7 was released back in 2015 to great reviews and was heralded as a return to form for the franchise. Alongside this announcement, a new patch for the game version 5.10 will be released as well. Included in this patch will be new features such as Streaming Mode. This will allow players to hide their Gamertags or network IDs and will be replaced with whichever character the player chooses. This mode will be available across all competitive game modes.
If you are not into streaming then there will also be a wealth of new cosmetics available to unlock for a variety of characters. You will also be able to save your favorite customized fighters with a simple button press in the new setup. As well as new Tournament settings so you can better control and adjust the rules and settings of your online tournaments.
